The Centre
The London Diamond Way Buddhist Centre belongs to the Karma Kagyu lineage of Buddhism. It was established in the UK in 1996 by Lama Ole Nydahl and is part of the largest network of lay Buddhist centres in the world. It is a place where people can meet to learn and meditate, to share experience and development and actively participate in the work which makes all this possible. The London Centre is organised on a voluntary, non-hierarchal basis and functions through friendship and idealism. Our approach is relevant to daily life, free from confusing cultural baggage, holy cows, exotic-sounding titles, careerism and sentimentality. We offer authentic methods for normal people with a healthy sense of humour towards life and love.
